Bronco's Cup

Netball - Round 1

Last week, the College had three teams compete in our annual Broncos Cup Netball competition! They hit the courts and did an amazing job. From fast passes to fierce defence, they gave it their all and represented the College with pride. It was a day full of energy, sportsmanship, and lots of laughs.

Rugby League - Round 1

B Grade came out firing with a clean sweep — 3 wins from 3 games! Outstanding effort and teamwork across the board. 28-8 win against Warwick State High School, 8-0 win against St Joseph’s and a 16-0 win against Goondiwindi State High School.

A Grade battled hard, securing 1 win from 3 tough matches. Plenty of positives to build on as the competition continues with round 2 in Warwick this week. 24-0 loss to Goondiwindi State High School, 16-12 win to Assumption and a 32-0 loss to Texas/Inglewood.

We are proud of all our teams' efforts. Best of luck for Round 2 this week!

Darling Downs Cross Country Championships

Congratulations to Aiden, Harper, Chevota, and Havanna who competed at the Darling Downs Cross Country held recently at Kearney Springs Park.

Special mention to Chevota who secured 1st place and Havanna who came 2nd in their respective races.

A strong effort from everyone! We wish Chevota and Havanna the best of luck for the upcoming State Championships in July.

Bill Turner Cup

What a fantastic day of football we had recently at the Bill Turner Cup Gala Day in Stanthorpe. Our teams showed incredible effort and spirit throughout the matches.

Girls' Team:

Game 1: 4-1 to St Joseph's Stanthorpe

Game 2: Won 6-4 against Stanthorpe State High School

Boys' Team:

Game 1: 3-0 to St Joseph's

Game 2: 8-1 to Warwick State High School

Game 3: 6-1 to Stanthorpe State High School

Game 4: Won 7-1 against Goondiwindi State High School

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this Gala Day possible.

Australian National Athletics Championships

Congratulations Harry

Recently our very own "Oogie" Harry Hume competed at the National Athletics Championships in Perth. We are very proud to say he came home with 2 National medals. He received a Silver in the Under 17 years 5kg Shot Put and a Bronze in the Under 20 6kg Shot put.

Queensland Representative Selection Water Polo

Congratulations to Year 12 student Jett White on being selected for the Qld 17&U Performance Squad in Water Polo. We wish you the best of luck Jett and are very proud of your achievements.

Quuensland School Sport Hockey Championships

Congratulations Will Corney

Will has just wrapped up an impressive performance at the Queensland School Sport Hockey State Championships in Townsville. As a key player in the Darling Downs 13-15 years boys team, he helped secure a 4th place finish in their age group.
